After falling in love with flowers, I fell harder for wild flowers. Though I have hunted wild flowers on almost all kinds of terrain. I love alpine flowers.

BELAMCANDA 'Freckle Face' Blackberry Lily. This unique perennial produces a profusion of 2-inch wide, brilliant orange blossoms with heavy red specking and shading on each of the six overlapping petals. They are produced atop mid-sized plants with green, sword-shaped foliage like that of a tall bearded iris. Belamcanda blooms for weeks in late summer, and its season of interest is extended into fall with the interesting seed pods which develop.

Clematis tibetana var. vernayi 'Orange Peel' I put this inside a big old wrought iron bird cage to grow through. Excited to see how it comes out. UPDATE: It came out beautiful...UNTIL a nasty storm came through and ripped it from the ground didn't notice for a couple of days. Lost it. I trimmed it way back & replanted with some B1...keeping fingers crossed.
