Steampunk Adjustable Bustle Skirt by Amber Middaugh 2015
1883 dinner gown, progress shot. Used Truly Victorian TV462, modified to add a peplum at the back. Overskirt is TV326, the Hermione overskirt, hitched up a bit in the front to more closely match the transition to the late bustle period. Foundation skirt is taken from Janet Arnold, with miles and miles and miles of lace basted onto it.

Victorian Bustle Skirt Steampunk Costume with Ruffles Sweeney Todd
An early Bustle Period dinner dress. The style of this gown created a large bustle in the back then drapes down into a train while the bodice is tight fitting and shoulders in natural position.
Too pretty, but might work if we go 'face' -- Alteration to corset. Love the ribbon embellishment. Less sexy. Love that the ribbon is adjustable. Thickness of the ribbon is perfect. Looks like one inch.
