Frederick Leo Turner (January 6, 1933 - January 7, 2013) was an American restaurant industry executive, chair and CEO of McDonald's. He began his career at McDonald's in 1956 and in 1977 he replaced Ray Kroc as Chairman, then was named Senior Chairman upon Kroc's death. Since his retirement in 2004, he has served as Honorary Chairman. Under Turner, McDonald's expanded its operations to 118 countries, with over 31,000 outlets. Robert G. LeTourneau (1888-1969) was an American businessman, inventor, and academic. His inventions include engineering vehicles and earthmoving equipment, and he had nearly 300 patents. He and his wife founded a Christian university in Texas, and he was well known as a generous philanthropist to Christian causes. His colleagues called him "God’s businessman." He started tithing 10% and ended tithing 90% of his income.
