art2wearblog: Quilt-en-sud 2015

I was invited to send some pieces to Quilt-en-sud in Biarritz for the fashion show this year. This is my cloak (Not all) Roses are r.

Love the color in this - maybe a better cut though

Odile Bailloeul :: Looks uncomfortable and certainly not figure-flattering - but can't argue with the colors, prints, and alternation between dense and loose patterning.

Coat made by Katwise. LOTS of work in this, but sooo worth it. Wearable art.

Rachel Clark's wearable art = I've been trying to remember her name. She was on Alex Anderson's quilting show when it was on HGTV. Rachel Clark would make vests without a pattern, embellished in many ways. You use a larger vest than you usually wear, because the decorating and embellishment pulled some of the fabric close. Fantastic!
