Oxie/Skytts/Vemmenhög. Liv nr 5776 b. Det är sytt av kyprat grönt ylle, har blommiga band som sytts ihop och syns i sidorna och mitt bak under nacken. Det har även dekor av 5,5 cm brett sidentaftband som täcker det mesta av livet. De förekommer i olika material t.ex. sidenbrokad, sammet och ylle som kunde dekoreras med sidenband.

Textile heritage from Scania province in southern Sweden. The Spedetroja. Handknitted sweaters by the peasants were decorated with exquisite velvet and silk ribbons, or pieces of silk or other expensive fabrics brought home by sailors, as much as the women on farms could afford with. Their inspiration came from the upper class people who wore whole dresses of those fabrics. The neck and cuffs could be extremely decorated especially by women from wealthier farms. | Spedetröjor…
