Thessaloniki, Greece, July 1942: Jewish man is forced to perform calisthenics on the day all Jewish men were ordered to a city square to be put to hard labor. They were made to wait for hours in the burning sun and perform calisthenics or dance. This was a precursor of sending the entire Jewish population of the city to the death camps.
