An antique diamond, garnet and silver topped gold tiara, circa 1850 of openwork design and closed-back setting, centering a rose-cut diamond within a starburst surround of smaller rose-cut diamonds, accented by pear-shaped garnets and surmounted by a rose-cut and light yellow old mine-cut diamond cluster, the remainder of tapering garland design set throughout with rose-cut diamonds, accented by pear-shaped garnets and (later) cultured pearls.
