When it’s time to harvest, with farmers, we use a specific machete to separate the pod from the tree. Once the entire harvest is done, we assemble pods to cut them with piece of wood taken from cacao trees. This method follows the Ashanti people's tradition where no metallic tool is in touch with the cacao pulp.
