MARITHOU CERAMICS Marie-Therese Dupoux, the fifth of six children, was born into a family of artists and began showing an interest in drawing at the tender age of six. Today, Marie-Therese, also known as Marithou, is classified as the first female new generation. She has worked with several famous Haitian masters including Nehemy Jean, J. Pierre Theard, Roland Dorcely, Luce Turnier, and Tiga in mediums ranging from sculpture to painting, ceramics and papier-maché.
