At the Musical Groceries center, students have two jobs. The first is to sort the plastic food items (purchased at Walmart) onto two plate.

Music a la Abbott: Dinah: rhythm "house" made with empty square tissue boxes. So many extensions possible for church children's choir. Half notes, could hot glue two boxes together.

Pass the rhythm around the circle and add some in as you go till you are playing 2 or 3 rhythms at the same time... great for getting the the kids to focus and listen!
