Norwegian Haymakers,1915 --- Women in Norway cleared the tall grass and chopped it down w/wooden 2-3 foot knives --- they hung the wet hay over a home made fence. Making Hay. Anyone able bodied, would participate. It's what peoples animals ate in winter, and used for warmth in some cases.
