Texas Sage - This evergreen shrub needs full sun and is drought tolerant. The soil needs to be well drained as well. It has a beautiful light purple flower that some people say it is suppose to bloom right before it rains. It can grow to be a little larger so it will usually need to pruned back.
Convolvulus sabatius This sweet little plant develops a dense carpet of grey-green leaves, and only grows about high. It grows best in full sun or part shade and in well-drained soil. It will tolerate hot, exposed sites and coastal salt sprays.
Texas Lilac ~ Vitex Blooms all summer long. Can be grown as a shrub but looks better trimmed as a tree (like the photo). After blooming, shear back (never more than of the plant) and it will rebloom and grow vigorously! Love this tree
