This chart separates socio-emotional development into four domains. I can refer to this when I see a child struggle with a social or emotional problem to determine the more broad area of difficulty for this child. Hopefully this recognition will help me know what to work on with this child. All of these domains are specifically developed playing in the dramatic play center, as described on pg 106 in the "Children Understanding the World Through Play" handout.
