Grand Duke Dimitri Constantinovich of Russia (Russian: Димитрий Константинович; 13 June 1860 – 28 January 1919) was a son of Grand Duke Constantin Nikolaevich and a first cousin of Alexander III of Russia. He followed a military career. Although he never played any political role, as a relative of tsar Nicholas II, he was executed by firing squad at the walls of Peter and Paul Fortress during the Russian Revolution.

1904, Imperial Russia, Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich (1858-1915).  He missed the chaos of the Russian Revolution, but his children were not so fortunate.  Three of his sons were killed by the Bolsheviks.  Others of his family escaped from Russia, but Grand Duke Konstantin has few descendants.  Many of the vanquished royals did not adapt well to lives as private citizens.
