"I'm not interested in whether you've stood with the great. I'm interested in whether you've sat with the broken." Elephant and dog sitting on bench.
We're all broken in some way, shape or form. Jesus sat with us. Sometimes a broken person is just what we need to bring us to reflect the light of Jesus in their lives . for our brokenness.
Where is God? He also resides with the broken hearted, the widow, the orphan, the oppressed. God is on the side of the downcast. Want to see God? Go looking for a broken person
"I have a tender spot in my heart for cripples and bastards and broken things.

We live in a 'throwaway' society, and that includes marriage. Proud dads know if they can't make this marriage work how can they expect any relationship to be permanent. Take the time each day to appreciate your wife and tell her you love her.
I can relate to this. Life is too "throw away" these days. People don't work at relationships like they once did. Life can often be tough, it throws things at us but we can get through it if we try!
When asked how they managed to stay together for 65 years, the woman replied, "We were born in a time where if something was broke, you fixed it.not throw it away." So true with spouses and family.
Sometimes i see old people and believe that relationships can last forever. It gives me hope to fine my perfect someone some day❤. Forever and always.
