Mary Queen of Scots, adult 1542-1587 by Lady Finavon. Following the death of Francis II she returned to Scotland and married Henry, Lord Darnley in 1564 and had one child (James VI of Scotland and then James I of England).  Following her marriage to the Earl of Bothwell and a battle with the Scottish Lords she fled to England and was imprisoned by Elizabeth I.  After 19 years she was executed for treason
