Originally set up to present respectable family entertainment in Tombstone, the Bird Cage Theatre’s original owners soon realized the town economics didn’t support their aspirations. So it was turned to the Old West equivalent to a titty bar with a gambling area and brothel. Said to have 26 people killed in brawls and their spirits are alleged to lurk there to its day. Boothill Graveyard, Tombstone, Arizona: Visitors often report seeing strange lights and hearing unidentifiable noises coming from the old graveyard. Spirits have been spied on numerous occasions, and even more frequently are said to appear in photographs. Billy Clanton, killed in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral is said to rise from his grave before walking along the road back to Tombstone.
Virgil Walter Earp July 18, 1843 – October 19, 1905..rare photo he was 16. Virgil Earp was the older brother of Wyatt Earp and Tombstone City Marshal at the time of the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1881. After suffering from pneumonia for six months, Virgil died in the town of Goldfield, Nevada. His remains were sent to Portland, Oregon at the request of his daughter Nellie Jane Bohn and buried at the River View Cemetery, the state’s oldest nonprofit cemetery, dating back to 1882.

Warren Baxter Earp (1855-1900) – The youngest of the Earp brothers, he joined the others in Tombstone in 1880, but was not in the settlement when brothers Virgil, Morgan and Wyatt had the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Warren later joined Wyatt in tracking down the killers of Morgan Earp in the infamous Earp Vendetta Ride................
Wyatt Earp - In March 1881, he set out to find a posse of cowboys who had robbed a stagecoach and its driver. Earp struck a deal with rancher, Ike Clanton who dealt regularly with the cowboys. In return for his help, Earp promised Clanton a $6,000 reward. Their partnership quickly dissolved due of Clanton's paranoia that Earp would leak the details of their bargain. Turning against Earp, Clanton bragged that he would kill one of the Earp men.
