These early 1900s images of Detroit Tigers players on and off the field were collected primarily from the Detroit Public Library's Ernie Harwell Sports Collection. A few also come from the Library of Congress. Some date back as far as 1899, and include images of Tigers greats including Ty Cobb, George Mullin, Sam Crawford, Hughie Jennings and Bill Donovan.
