I've been enamoured with the Royal Mail Steamer Titanic for years, long before James Cameron's "Titanic" came out. I've loved her for as long as I can remember. I hope you enjoy looking through my pins as much as I have enjoyed finding them. This is my attempt, small as it might be, to honor Titanic, and all connected to her. The ship was christened the Titanic because it was designed to be the greatest ship ever built. "Titan" refers to a race of deities in ancient Greek mythology.

Tea on the Titanic

Several years ago while browsing used cookbooks online I came across the most fascinating find titled Last Dinner on the Titanic. I had tentatively reserved it in my "wish list" for a while as I was worried there was something a bit macabre about recreating soups and desserts that were served on the evening of such a tragic event. But soon the romance and splendor of the era of transatlantic travel won me over, I clicked "buy" and days later was poring over the captivating old photographs…

It's been 101 years, and still Titanic's memory lives on. Titanic and her passengers that perished the night of April 15,1912 will never be forgotten.

As Titanic sank, he pleaded, 'believe in the Lord Jesus!'

Many movies, documentaries and books have familiarized us with some of the passengers of the Titanic, but one sticks out for writer Douglas Mize -- pastor John Harper, who ran person to person, passionately telling others about Christ as the boat sank. He even gave his life vest to an unbeliever.
