1400 In the early 15th century cotehardie, a form fitting dress of previous century is still worn, but since 1380s houppelande is becoming more and more popular. It's a full outer garment, usually with flaring sleeves that can be linen with fur. In most cases it has high neckline, but I've seen a few pictures with lower one and it fitted more with the dress. Later in the century the neckline will become V-shaped. Hair is covered with a veil. by Tadarida.deviantart.com on @DeviantArt
