Self watering. Rinse an empty wine bottle, (or similar). Fill with water. Place a few holes in the lid & screw onto the bottle. Push the neck down several inches into the soil near the centre of the planter. The water in the bottle will seep into the soil over several days, keeping the soil evenly moist. It works!
