I love the gold color. I also like how it looks like the gold has rusted. The shape of the bowl is nice- it's wide in the middle and doesn't keep increasing width at the top of the bowl. I like the shiny look of the bowl, too.

Vansbro Stengods / Lasse Östman Glaze 1 (about 75%): 70 Potash feldspar (Norflux), 5 Albany Slip (or other equal - not critical), 20 Manganese dioxide, 5 copper oxide. Glaze 2 (about 25%): 30 Potash feldspar, 26 Manganese dioxide, 40 Albany Slip, 2 copper oxide, 2 cobalt oxide. Firing: Electric: 1270-80 with 15-30 min soak + 0-60min soak at 1050-1100. Good even in reduction. Most clays work good. Low viscosity, so be aware to make the glaze thin near bottom.
