This is a must see for me, another gorgeous piece of history so beautifully preserved!~ Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary ~ neo-Gothic church built 1901-11 ~ closed in 1938 and threatened with demolition, it was used after the war as a warehouse, then a hostel ~ Following the fall of communism in 1991, it returned to being a church in 1996.
