The rug-covered ottoman-slash-coffee table drew us in, and the indigo-dyed throw pillows (with their vaguely American-flag-esque patterns) kept us around. Let's hear it for unconventional textiles!
I LOVE this idea and I totally plan on taking one of my parents' old Oriental rugs to make this happen.
vintage ornaments have such a story to tell... mom and I managed to salvage a few very similar from my great-grandfathers basement. So delicate and treasured... just like Christmas memories.
