Margareta Eriksdotter Vasa, 1497-1537. Sister of Gustav (Vasa) I of Sweden. Her short life was full of incident and drama: her first husband and her father were murdered in the "Swedish bloodbath"; she was imprisoned in Denmark where her mother and sisters died; was held captive; quarrelled w/her brother the king; fled Sweden; died in exile in Talinn, etc.
