Courtney Stanley 11/11. This is the clip chart I have chosen for my management plan. I love the idea of the Hall of Fame and the clothes pins. This relates to management because students are able to see where their behavior is at. They are also able to move back up the chart if they move down. There are many chances for rewards with this behavior chart.
Nicole Olver 11/11/2018 This clip chart is very visual and colorful, but the aspect I like the most is that on each color there is the problem, and then what happens because of it. This means students are less confused about their consequences or rewards and will ask less questions about it. There will be a clearer understanding.
Anthony Meneo 9/30/18 The Super Citizen board, not only outlines responsibilities and actions of a good citizen, but also track how students do these actions in the classroom. In classroom management this board could promote ideal actions depending on what was written if the students are provided with an incentive system.
Katie Stack. 9/23/18. I think this is a really good idea for your students. It is important to praise them for good behavior and their parents will be very proud of them when they come home with this! This is good for classroom management because this allows the students to be rewarded and noticed for good behavior and it will make everyone want to behave.
Anthony Meneo 9/16/18 Leader in Me 7 Habits Clip Chart is a chart that outlines behavior that makes your students leaders and gives them a set of ideals to strive for. I especially like how as it goes lower it acts as a motivator to get better instead of the usually boards that tend to gravitate straight to punishments.
Haley Gayoski. Due Date: 9/16/18. I like the idea of using student behavior clip charts in classrooms. This allows for teachers to easily be able to address unwanted behavior in the classroom without having to disrupt the class. The teacher can simply move a clip while teaching and not have to stop and correct/discipline a student. In classroom observations, students usually respond quickly once their clip is moved and fix any unwanted behaviors almost immediately.
Josefa R. 3-16-17 A cool twist to the use of clip charts! I would most definitely use this kind of clip chart in my classroom for two reasons. One reason being that they provide visual reminders for students, and the second reason being that the substitute would have access to the classrooms everyday procedures and information in regards to who rides the bus or walks to school. Love this idea!
Josefa Romero 1-23-17 This clip chart is genius! Using this clip chart with the younger students would really help them stay on task during their morning routine. Instead of wasting time asking students if they completed their planner or turned in their homework, students can physically move their clothespin down as they complete the tasks. I can then have more time to converse with the students. I would have these an individualized charts by their desks.
Amy Trathen (10/21/16) - We've all seen clip charts for classroom management plans; however, I really liked seeing a clip chart for birthdays! I think it's important for teachers to know their students and to celebrate them, especially on their birthdays. This clip chart can allow everyone to see when students birthdays are.
Alyssa Young 4/15/16- This idea of classroom jobs as a clip chart is a great idea. It gives the students easy access so when new people pick new jobs, it's easy for them to do it. This relates to classroom management because it can be a 1 2 3 easy process for students and it keeps the classroom in line.
Karissa Hensel 3/25/16- As everyone knows I love owls! I think it is such a cute theme and this clip chart is very detailed which is great for the students to see where they are measuring up! I like how the big space is in the middle and then it thins out as it goes out. I think this could be great to use in younger grades.
