I've read and re-read The Daily Five and I'm ready to "read to learn" and not just "learn to read". My favorite graphics site Lettering Delights is having a great sale, tons of packages for only 50 cents. I spent just a few dollars and am squealing in delight over the cuteness. We started working on text structure a little bit before the break - just problem/solution and main idea/details, to start to see the differences between fiction and nonfiction.
