E-waste may be a part of why consumers can be produced by consumers due to their wants. In the United States, there is a larger amount of waste being thrown out rather than being recycled. In this case, there is more e-waste being produced in the atmosphere. Some of these waste could be recycled and be reused. This example illustrates what is being defined as ‘techno-trash’ in week five. These are, furthermore, categorized as disuse and disposal.
